How I Choose Curtains for My Little Home

An important thing for decorating the home is curtain. That's why you need to choose it wisely. In order to enhance the cheerful and joyful atmosphere, you may choose the correct material, the right color, right installation. Of course, the function of curtain is also an important thing. Some people maybe just not so care with the aesthetic aspect, and only think of the functional aspect.

For my home, I choose both sides. Since I love living in a lovely house that can be a perfect sanctuary to enjoy my day activities. I am stay at home mom, so mostly I spend my  time in a house while taking care my 2 yo toddler. Here what I do for decorating a home with nice and perfect curtain.
For curtain, it's important to pick a nice material, try to get one which is not so heavy and has a great durability, so it can flow smoothly. I think some of great selections are for example, silk, linen, velvet, since they have nice effect of flowing if it has pleated or drapery shape. If you like silk, it is also a great option. Silk is long lasting and great material as curtain.

Another thing to consider is choosing the best color of curtain for the home. Because I am living in a tropical country, so my house gets so much sun light exposure. I often get advice that if we live in a place with too much light, don't select curtain that has vibrant or colorful feature. It's better to pick a neutral color like white, beige, grey, since it can harmonize well with the whole room and yeah... it is really can blend easily with no more effort.
